Kutch is the most diverse district in Gujarat; whether it may be its culture or geography. Kutch is blessed with the seashore, the desert and the grasslands. The trio is very beautiful and enchanting, but the desert of Kutch (also called the Rann of Kutch) is something very special. Initially the rann of Kutch was believed to be curse for Kutchi people as acres and acres of land was covered in the salt which made the land unfitting for farming. But the vision of Mr. Narendra Modi, our honorable Prime Minister (then CM of Gujarat) transformed the curse into compliment. The rann Utsav started in 2005 i.e., 13 years back. 13 years of celebrating culture of Kutch.
